Novacolor Indian Yellow is a mandatory color in my studio. Its rich Indian yellow sweeps across the canvas with rich hues of crimson red and fluorescent Yellow. Yes, I am describing the piece I’m currently creating. Add more Novacolor such as fluorescent pink and blue green and WOW! Novacolor does it again. Beautiful.
Makes a lovely purple with ultramarine blue and titanium white
Deliciously texture. Slightly thicker than Liquitex Soft Body. Jar say Transparent but more translucent. some luster when dry.
You used to offer super gel. Did you discontinue that product? I really liked it but could not find in your catalogue.
I've been using Nova color probably for the past 15 years. I have to tell you that I have never found paint better and the only color I can ever say that they've never made would be quinacridone nickel Azle gold. But as toward the Nova color 103 you don't have to use blocks anymore you just use that people are always amazed by the Dynamics of my paintings because of it. Overall other paint brands and if you look at my history I already ordering me there by the gallon or 5 gallons so I do a lot of work and I do find it quite amazing. Definitely a place to shop at by and switch up your paints if using anything other than Nova color you went too far.

Rich color. This paint slides over the canvas smoothly covering well. It mixes well with water and remains flexible until dry.

This is my go-to. I'm a professional collage artist and use both the gloss and matte varnish to adhere my paper to the canvas. After years of experimenting, I like it better than matte or gloss medium, and it can be thinned as needed with water. My tip is to use the gloss varnish until the final coat, as matte has a dulling agent in it which, when layered, can cloud your colors. Then use the matte varnish for the final one or two finishing coats. The result will be a lovely satiny finish!
